Vintage Mini Tag Album

Howdy! Hope all is well. I am busy working on several projects that are sure to keep me busy through the fall. Not to mention I am headed to Vancouver, British Columbia in early August for our annual conference. Whew! That's why I love scrapbooking. It's such a great stress reliever and creative outlet. I love to work on several projects at once. Stepping away from a project for a few weeks gives me a fresher, creative outlook once you go back to it. It's wonderful. Right now I have started the cover of a vintage-themed tag mini. This tag mini will contain pictures of both my grandmothers. I almost forgot that my Cousin Gail sent me some pictures of my great grandmother. She'll be added as well. I can't wait to add pictures to this mini album. It will be a beautiful keepsake, coffee-table item for all to enjoy when completed. Thanks for stopping by. Smooches!

Garden Themed Mini Album

Hello! Well it's been a while since I posted, but I have been busy working on a few mini albums just in time for spring. I just finished a mini album from the Deux Shabby Chic March Kit Club. You can check out the details at my You Tube Channel, dkrisko4. This album was fun to create. I am hoping to fill this mini with pictures from my visit to the many gardens in downtown D.C. There are so many beautiful gardens around town that are hidden gems! I am including a slide show presentation of the mini album here on my blog. Finally Mariposa! Reflections on Turning 50

Yes! I'm turning 50 this year. I am completely non-fazed about this great and blessed milestone in my life and ready for it! I decided to make a mini that will include pictures and thoughts on turning 50. The Mariposa paper pack seem like a great choice for this mini. Some of the reflective points I am including are family, friends, faith, career and favorite things. I am posting the pictures here but will also put a video on You Tube.

Starting a "new" mini

Howdy! Just thought I'd try my hand at uploading photos to my blog. Here's a few pictures of a mini I am working on. The theme will be my favorite photos. Lots's of glimmer mist and bling. The cover is a Tattered Angels Chipboard. Also tried my hand at Velma's flower technique. Thank you Velma! I hope to load more pics when I figure out how. Big ole' pot of homemade beef stew and cornbread in the oven with a side of heavy snowfall Yummy! Plus I'm working on a cute little mini album..Can't get any better than this! I'm using this cool paper line by Melody Ross called Artsy Urban. Can't wait to show DSC members...Will post pictures when done...Smooches
