Bird Cage Canvas Wall Art!
Hello and Happy Saturday...Here is a project that was totally recreated and inspired by Marion Smith at apieceofcraft.com and marionsmithdesigns.com. Marion taught a Ustream class this past week showing us how to paint on canvas and add chipboard elements as art....She creates wonderful scrapbooking projects, but her artwork is AMAZING! So please check her out..

Here is my rendition of the canvas wall art. It took me a little over two hours to complete this project. I had so much fun...This will definitely find a home in my craftroom.

Christmas Tags and Cards!
Hello! It's been a while but I've been busy crafting...I've been working on many projects for Christmas and hope to post finished pictures as soon as I can. In the meantime, here are pictures of some Christmas tags and cards I have completed. Totally inspired by Tim Holtz, I used lots of distressing inks and Glimmer Mist. Most of the embellishments are from various collections, thrift store finds and great deals from Michael's. ENJOY! Thanks for checking out my blog.

Recyled Box Mini Album and Swap Announcement!
Hello Everyone!
Here is a quick peek at a project I am working on. This box originally contained K& Company Chipboard letters. Some of the letters were missing, so I only paid $.75 for the box. I love the colors. I added K&Company Amy Butler papers to the front; Prima flowers with glimmer mist, bling and distress inks. The stamped tickets are from Autumn Leaves. I will post the final project before I send to my wonderful friend Robin. Check out my you tube channel for more details.
Also, I am thinking about hosting a swap. I have a great idea and hope that you will consider participating. It should be fun! Check out my blog later this week for details...Thanks again for visiting!
Smooches!

Vintage Mini Tag Album
Howdy! Hope all is well. I am busy working on several projects that are sure to keep me busy through the fall. Not to mention I am headed to Vancouver, British Columbia in early August for our annual conference. Whew! That's why I love scrapbooking. It's such a great stress reliever and creative outlet. I love to work on several projects at once. Stepping away from a project for a few weeks gives me a fresher, creative outlook once you go back to it. It's wonderful. Right now I have started the cover of a vintage-themed tag mini. This tag mini will contain pictures of both my grandmothers. I almost forgot that my Cousin Gail sent me some pictures of my great grandmother. She'll be added as well. I can't wait to add pictures to this mini album. It will be a beautiful keepsake, coffee-table item for all to enjoy when completed. Thanks for stopping by. Smooches!

Garden Themed Mini Album
Hello! Well it's been a while since I posted, but I have been busy working on a few mini albums just in time for spring. I just finished a mini album from the Deux Shabby Chic March Kit Club. You can check out the details at my You Tube Channel, dkrisko4. This album was fun to create. I am hoping to fill this mini with pictures from my visit to the many gardens in downtown D.C. There are so many beautiful gardens around town that are hidden gems! I am including a slide show presentation of the mini album here on my blog. Check back later for posting of the other albums I am working on...Enjoy and smooches!
